Q: What is The Peoples' Sky?

A: The Peoples' Sky is the first conference focused on the astronomical contributions of Indigenous peoples from around the world.

Q: Where and when is The Peoples' Sky taking place?

A: The inaugural The Peoples' Sky is taking place at Princeton University in Princeton, NJ, from November 8th - 10th, 2024.

Q: How should I travel to The Peoples' Sky?

A: We recommend flying into Newark Liberty International Airport and taking either a taxi service or the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor train to Princeton. If you take the NJT, you must purchase a ticket (either a physical ticket from a kiosk or from the NJT phone app) to Princeton. You'll transfer at Princeton Junction to the Dinky train (which just goes back and forth between Princeton Junction and Princeton stations).

Q: Where should I stay in Princeton?

A: There are several hotels in town including the Nassau Inn, the Graduate, and the Palmer House Inn. Contact loc.thepeoplessky@gmail.com for additional assistance.

Q: Is there travel assistance?

A: Check back here soon! We are working on securing travel funding for participants.
